Wir sind sehr stolz – unsere Einspielung der h-moll-Messe wurde von den wichtigsten Rundfunkanstalten äusserst positiv rezensiert. Hier haben wir die Links zum Nachhören zusammengefasst:
Der ORF nennt unsere Einspielung der h-moll-Messe «rundum geglückt»: «Andrea Marcon, der in Treviso geborene Dirigent, versammelt eine vergleichsweise kleine Schar an Musizierenden um sich und bietet eine äußerst bewegliche, manchmal geradezu verspielte, aber immer tief emotionale Interpretation.» Im ORF wurde unsere CD am 14. Oktober vorgestellt.
Letzten Samstag war sie dann «CD der Woche» bei der BBC: «A truly uplifting Resurrection from Bach’s B minor Mass, the new recording from La Cetra Basel conducted by Andrea Marcon with an excellent solo team embedded in the chorus. … Performing the mass together and sharing it with each other is always a gift he [Marcon] says, a privilege, a proof of love. Mit unserer Einspielung der Messe war Andrea Marcon im Oktober zu Gast beim SWR in der Reihe «Hingehört – Stars der alten Musikszene und ihre musikalischen Favoriten». In dem sehr interessanten Gespräch lässt sich mehr über seine Vision dieses Werks erfahren und warum es ihm so viel bedeutet. Hier geht es zum SWR-Beitrag.
Auch Radio France hat sich unserer CD gewidmet und sie zu “la disque du jour” gekoren: “C’est surtout une très belle vérsion. Il y a une unité, un ferveur, cette vérsion a quelque chose de très incarné”.
Das renommierte Gramophone Magazine schreibt: “One of many refreshing attributes about this engaging and fluent reading is that Andrea Marcon has managed to etch the lines in a series of unhurried and considered tableaux, starting with an ineluctable trinity of Kyrie movements. … Balancing musicological common sense, especially in how soloists and ripienists interact across all the various canvases of the Mass, with creative instinct is one of the strongest virtues of this new recording.”
Und als Fazit: “it is as thoughtful and integrated a reading as I’ve heard for several years, and probably since Lars Ulrik Mortensen’s searching account of 2015.“
