On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of La Cetra in 2024, we are planning a large participatory project with a performance on 20 October 2024 as part of a festive weekend under the name “una festa barocca”. The programme includes music by George Frideric Handel (Suite from the Water Music, Concerto grosso HWV 319, Fireworks Music) under the direction of Andrea Marcon.
The project is aimed at amateur musicians aged 12-99 with the instruments violin, viola, violoncello, double bass, viola da gamba, recorder, baroque oboe, baroque bassoon, horn and (for individual movements, fewer rehearsals) also transverse flute.
