Baroque treasures rediscovered
Our annual opera rediscovery for the first time with an opera work by the often underestimated composer Christoph Graupner from 1707, conducted by Andrea Marcon. An extremely varied opera whose numbers constantly alternate between the Italian and German languages. A high-calibre cast of soloists including Robin Johannsen as Dido, Andreas Wolf, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro, Alicia Amo, José Antonio Lopez and the young, up-and-coming Swiss soprano Chelsea Zurflüh promises a fantastic Swiss premiere!
